Founded in 1788, Cincinnati is a historic city with a rich heritage. It’s known for its 19th-century architecture, specifically within the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Over-the-Rhine is one of the largest, most intact urban historic districts in the United States.

Cincinnati is home to several major corporations, including Procter & Gamble, The Kroger Company, and Fifth Third Bank, reflecting its historical significance in commerce. The city has a diverse economy based on sectors like manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, insurance and finance, education and health services, and government.
